After the holiday season, a few days of rest, and hey presto! Back to the routine. But luckily, this one comes with the sales, enough to treat yourself to one or more little treats.
A few weeks ago, at the beginning of winter, we all fell in love with that wonderful coat, or those ankle boots in such refined leather, with that heel that will make us gain 10 centimeters, and whose price was... just outrageous! And indeed, our wise and reasonable minds made us prefer to wait for the sales.
Clear the wishlist, or satisfy a whim.
Although most of us have already received enough gifts to renovate our wardrobe, we all know: we won't be able to avoid a trip to the stores, in-store or online, to make sure everything is okay, and that the brands haven't forgotten to lower their prices. And once we get to this point, we'll try to empty our wishlist down to the last item. And if after all that we can add new ones depending on whether we change stores, or tabs for those who prefer to order online, it will be done for the next sales!
Let's invest in the basics.
But what do we really need? We're not going to lie to ourselves. In reality, we don't need anything. But the sales are a great opportunity to refresh our items from last season and invest in basics. It's the biannual opportunity to buy clothes or accessories that will save us in the mornings when we don't feel like thinking about color combinations. A white shirt, jeans, an oversized wool sweater, or a necklace that goes with everything and completes a simple look—these are items we almost have to have.

Now we just have to cross our fingers that we find everything we're looking for, avoiding the crowds and queues of more than 15 minutes, and that our forward-thinking minds don't go too far looking for the new collection as soon as we set foot in a store... or else the new wishlist for the summer sales will already be ready!
