The Little Joys of Spring
Spring is starting with rather cool temperatures, but a few rays of sunshine should appear here and there this weekend! And above all, we hope to soon be able to enjoy the joys of spring.
It's the return of flowers!
Spring is undoubtedly the most colorful season. In just a few days, trees exchange their sad branches for beautiful flowers, gardens are covered with tulips and daffodils, and cities become true spectacles of color and scent. And walks in parks or in the countryside are the most pleasant times of the year!
And among the flowers… the chocolate bunnies?
Easter is getting closer, and the chocolate aisles are already overflowing in the supermarkets: chickens, rabbits, eggs and other wild and domestic animals are already dressed in their most beautiful colorful papers to make us want to take them all home and devour them right away without even taking the time to hide them in the garden. Well, OK, we'll try to wait a little while, just to see the children all excited looking for them among the flowers.
Long days to the delight of terrace lovers.
Ah, the first drinks on a sunny terrace... The recipe? A south-facing terrace, good friends, a nice refreshing drink and rays of sunshine to warm our white skin: this is the perfect cocktail to make it one of the best moments of a spring day, isn't it?
It's on our terraces that we make the most of the long days spring offers us. For several weeks now, the days have been getting longer, and we've been gaining a few minutes of sunshine each day. Patience, we'll have to wait until the last Sunday in March for the time change: an hour less sleep, certainly, but for a good cause: to fully enjoy the sunny days.
And after spring?
We love spring, but let's face it: we know that right after it, there's even better! And then our minds are already wandering to the holidays, the beach, how hot it's going to be, the skirts, dresses, and shorts we'll have to buy, and then... we feel much better!
